SO OUT THERE SO OUT THERE Artist is producer/writer Tim Jones: a studio based techno-pop artist with a mix of computer gimmickry, sampling and synthesized beats. A blend of house, acid, funk, hip-hop, electro and techno popular of the new flock of English "Brit hop" producers. Over the past year he has written over 40 completed songs and has a back catalogue of 100’s of unfinished commercial and instrumental songs for pop, remix and film. Target markets include commercial pop, dance/club music geared towards some of the country’s top DJ’s. Specialist markets include “underground” music to Christian music. Currently he is working on an album of which many songs and inspiration take material from a variety of musical sources from hip-hop, rock, jazz, R&B, traditional pop and synthesized noise all worked their way into the distinctly postmodern soundscapes. Music releases for the early part of 2008 include: SO OUT THERE Featuring SPENCER – teaming up with UK techno pop artist Spencer, two tracks are being released Q3-Q4. “What Have I Done” is aimed squarely at the DJ nightclub audience of UK and Europe. A second track “She’s In Love with You” is being penned for commercial pop chart released in UK, US and Canada for Christmas release. Working with Martin Noakes, SO OUT THERE is remixing and reproducing his controversial 9/11 Building 7 song which has been featured around the world and in documentary films. SO OUT THERE release “Nothing” – the simplest love song every written penned for pop and “cult” film use. NEW WORLD ORDER 2008 - with the acclaimed success of controversial music and video that went viral in 2007, a new “mainstream” version is being produced with a full video and viral marketing campaign. SO OUT THERE release “Monkey Madness” – a novelty dance track based on the Disney film The Jungle Book – “I Wanna Be Like You” song aimed at a mainstream and youth market. |
ABOUT: Tim Jones A British songwriter, currently living in Toronto, Canada. He has over two-decades of experience in music writing, audio and digital/computer production and sound technology with a diversity of styles from pop, rock, film, TV and is involved with special project work including remix ‘DJ’ work with commercial appeal. As a versatile musician, he has a talent for writing a diverse range of musical styles: from catchy electronic dance tunes, commercial pop, mellow classical music, score and ambient ‘new age’ soundscapes through to distinct music for use in TV commercials and credits. Tim writes, programs and engineers all aspects of his music using the latest digital audio workstation technology, including: Cubase, VST, Nuendo, Native Instruments, Waves Mastering, Sound Forge and Sony Acid Pro for remixing. He makes extensive use of digital audio technologies to create and master his work. Tim is also is an award winning Internet developer and web portal programmer using Microsoft Technologies including: ASP.NET, SQL databases and technology specialist using new streaming media technology. He ran three successful businesses: Advanced Marketing, Advanced Internet (ISP) and Advanced Media while in the UK gaining expert knowledge in the field of online marketing and Internet distribution. He was also a Director and joint founder of the UK’s first Web Portal for student’s “Student World”.
